In May of 1973 I spent two weeks by myself traveling around Ireland in a car with no set itinerary. I landed at Shannon airport and spend a few days exploring the area including the Lakes of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. I then drove to Cork and then on to Dublin. From there I went across Ireland to Galway. Finally back to Shannon for my flight back home.

For my film I used the then new "movie" type film that produced negatives and slides. This year I bought a slide scanner to digitize my slide collection. Since I remembered the colorful slides from 30 years ago I was disappointed when I viewed the slides. The all had a red cast and no color. Technology came to the rescue and I used Adobe Photoshop to bring back the colors in, what I consider, a magical process. Here are a few of the processed photos.
